What Boat N Go Does
Boat N Go helps recreational boaters make smarter decisions before leaving the dock.
We analyze marine conditions like wind, waves, tides, and alerts, then translate that data into simple GO / CAUTION / NO-GO guidance based on your location and boat setup.
Instead of digging through multiple forecasts and charts, Boat N Go gives you a clear planning snapshot so you can understand the risk, set expectations, and decide whether the day is worth going.
Boat N Go is built for planning and situational awareness, not real-time navigation. Conditions change, and the captain is always responsible—but better information leads to better decisions.
Know before you go.

How We Use Data & Scoring
Boat N Go uses a rules-based scoring algorithm designed to evaluate marine conditions in context and translate them into practical planning guidance.
We ingest trusted marine and weather inputs—such as wind, wave height, wave period, tides, and official alerts—and process them through an algorithm that weighs how these factors interact, not just their raw values.
The scoring system considers:
Magnitude (how strong conditions are)
Structure (for example, wave height relative to wave period)
Trends and compounding risk
Boat context, including size and intended exposure
These inputs are synthesized into a single Boating Score, which is then mapped to clear GO / CAUTION / NO-GO guidance to support decision-making before leaving the dock.
Boat N Go’s scoring is designed for planning and situational awareness, not prediction or real-time control. Conditions change, but structured analysis helps surface risk that may not be obvious when viewing individual forecasts in isolation.
